My father has been living at Legacy for a few years now. This place has been my father's favorite place. In his prior facilities, they couldn't keep up with his medications, his outside appointments, travel to and from. This facility makes him feel at home.
The staff like the administrator, Betsy and Debbie show true Christian faith in caring for him. Many people, come and go in places like these, many facilities are big and bright but one's like these get to really know the residents.
If he is happy, and he feels safe, that is all that matters. When problems arose, they addressed them-promptly. I worked at big box facility, and my Father went through 2 others before here. Legacy, is FAR better than many and my Father is alive and happy.
My friend Barb Ciotti's mother was a resident of Legacy and her best friend shared the same room and it was a very desirable place to visit. They have good meals (Barb worked in the kitchen when we visited) & snacks. The last time, which was yrs. ago I remember them making Apple Crumb Dessert!. They decorate during the holidays which is beautiful, they have a fireplace near the piano from what I can remember.
Anyway, I called them during and after the Covid-19 happened they wouldn't accept my volunteering at that time.
They have an outside patio which is very comfortable & scenic. Patients have free time to do what they want and choose to be in the large living room as well as other TV rms. or do their hobbies which are taught there (think they still do).
Anyway, this was and is a GREAT place and let them show you how exceptional this dwelling really is or just show up at the door step and see for yourself.
Legacy Gardens doesn't even remember me -- never gave my name to them except for applying for volunteer work and I'm sure

Funny, after reading this one review, all the information in the review is false. I wonder where Mr. Ron Dunlop received his information? Usually The Director and myself would recognize the name or occurrence of the situation, but there is none. Firstly , I myself am not the Director. I am the only Licensed Nursing Personnel and Director of Resident Care. I am an RN BSN and hold that position very dear. Our residents here are treated with the utmost of respect. They are happy, well fed and we make sure that all of their needs are taken care of properly. Secondly i have never had an inappropriate confrontation with any resident or staff, nor has my Director who has been here for twenty 23 years. Thirdly, and without further ado, we have never had a cleaning company come here, as the girls do all of their own cleaning as part of the job. Please come visit, and see for yourself.
