Best oysters I have had in years for a buck a shuck! Had 3 varieties when I went, started with 24 and they were so delicious I got 12 more. I’m curious about their private dinner parties. They claim they do an Argentinian style grill.
Can’t say enough about Barnegat Oyster Collective. The owners are wonderful, the meals are elevated and fresh, and the location is lovely. The plating of the meals is exquisite. I love how fresh and unique the ingredients are, and here, you’re always going to have a good experience. A must!
The food here is absolutely delicious — beautifully plated and full of flavor. The seared tuna with curry was fresh and vibrant, while the filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked. Every dish was presented with care and tasted amazing.
Service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and welcoming, which really made the experience enjoyable.
That said, portions run on the smaller side, and I did leave a little hungry. Maybe offering something simple like complimentary bread could balance it out. Still, the quality of the food and the great service will definitely bring me back.
This place is great! We’ve ordered Oysters from them before, but this was our first time visiting and we’ll definitely be back. Fun outdoor seating right on the water; can arrive by car or boat. Oysters and other seafood were all local, fresh, and delicious!
We had the best night out at yesterday's firepit Friday event. The 5 course dinner was shucked, cooked and served outside on rows of picnic tables right on the bay. The food was outstanding as was the company of the new friends we met at our table and the people working there could not have been more wonderful. Thank you for creating a really wonderful memory and we can't wait for the next one!
