My wife and I stopped here for lunch today.
The atmosphere isn't anything special, but it is cozy and warm. And I hasten to add, this place is spotless! Even the rest rooms are sparkling clean!
The service was excellent. Our server was both friendly and on time with our order. We both had soup first, and the main course wasn't rushed out on top of the soup...nice job!
Now for the food... we both got a luncheon special. My wife had beef broccoli, and I had the Hunan pork. Both came with fried rice.
Both meals were good sized portions, and nice and hot.
The beef dish had some of the most tender beef ever experienced in a Chinese restaurant. The pork dish was nice and full of tender pork. Both dishes were nicely spiced.
So, we have great food, wonderful service and a nice, but not overly fancy atmosphere.
It all adds up to a very, very good dining experience! Highly recommended!
I try different dishes every time we go to great wok. Every dish so far has been great. I love the won ton soup and noodles. Our waitress is very friendly and food comes out in a timely manner. We try and go as often as we can.
The best pork egg fu young. Very clean and food is consistently good and no changes. Big portions
Just moved to the area. Was extremely nervous ordering Chinese food. It’s always a hit or miss. So I did my research and tried great wok. 100% awesome. I really love the food and service was easy and great! Will definitely order again!
It’s good to have a place close, even though it isn’t a very authentic dining room. There was only one table being used in their spacious dining area.
I did ordering at the restaurant and took a seat. It took about 20 minutes for egg drop soup, pork fried rice, veggie lo mein and general tso chicken. Typical Chinese fair.
I asked for very spicy general tso but it came out with ZERO heat, tasty but I was disappointed at the spice level.
The egg drop soup has corn in it, I swear that’s a first for me. Great Chinese crackers-not home made but not those horrible rock hard crackers many people toss in your bag, I swear they are trying to get rid of them.
The rest of the food was good and it’s consistent over the years. If you want an authentic experience I think you’ll like their food, just don’t expect the look to match the food.
