Italy's Best Pizza

Just attended my son’s engagement party. Everything there was delightful . The food was delicious… my family around me had different dishes and penne vodka seemed to be the favorite 🥰 The room was a good size and so nicely decorated for the holidays. Service was great! When I return, the first thing on my list is your calamari. Thank you for making his and his fiancée’s party a memorable one.

Italy’s Best Pizza is a hidden gem tucked away in a Lakehurst strip mall. While unassuming from the outside, the kitchen demonstrates their dough-making expertise in their pizzas and subs. It is family-friendly and offers great value with generous portion sizes.

The Food:
🥖 The Bread: The servers greet you with a warm welcome and a complimentary bread basket (half plain, half tomato/cheese sauce) that arrived pillowy soft. A perfect start with the butter.

🍕 The Pizza: The crust is the star with a satisfying, chewy texture.

• Tomato & Garlic: The sliced tomatoes and garlic provided an acidity and brightness that balanced out the rich cheese and sauce.

• Shrimp & Lemon: The zest of the lemon paired well with the shrimp.

An excellent fast-casual Italian restaurant. Perfect for a quick lunch or a large family dinner without breaking the bank.

I've had their pizza before as a delivery. It was always delicious! Today was my first time picking up food and it was so easy to order and they have such nice staff. I had a grilled chicken caesar wrap and fried raviolis. So delicious! I will definitely order again!

We got take-out with delivery twice in one week from Italy’s Best, for the first time. The dinners were delicious and with so much food! They arrived quickly, and piping hot. Their menu has so many choices, it’s hard to decide. We were so impressed, the next night we ordered pizza. We were equally satisfied then too! It was delicious and also very hot, and arrived quickly too. I can’t wait to go back and visit my mom to sample Italy‘s Best menu again!

We did takeout pizza. We ordered a Large Italy's Best Special Pizza which had tomato sauce and Mozzarella cheese with Sausage, Mushrooms, Ham, Pepperoni, Black Olives, and Hot Peppers ($26.31 with tax). The car smelled heavenly. I forgot to take a picture of the full pizza but did have two slices left (reheated) to show you. The toppings were abundant and all the way to the crust which is hard to find lately in other restaurant pizzas. So the look and the smell of the pizza had us all the drive home. BUT the taste was so delicious and filling. Each bite was filled with all of the ingredients not just one or two of them. The hot peppers which are not abundant on each slice thankfully add a new dimension to that pizza. They add a burst of spice and hot to the pizza but not the entire slice which is good. I would have preferred the hot peppers without the stems and the seeds though. This is a delicious pizza because the ingredients are abundant and the flavor is outstanding. Highly recommend you try one!!!!
