Nice family type restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, with specials In Whiting, NJ. In a strip mall. Wonderful and friendly staff. Food terriffic, decent prices. Large menu. Went for lunch on Monday, 12/29/2025

Moved to Whiting a few years ago and have been to Heritage numerous times now. Always a great meal, always great service and they normally have really good specials that kick it up a notch. We always leave more than pleased.

I'll start by saying our server was sweet. The food however left much to be desired. After ordering the advertised prime rib and them coming back 2x to tell me they only had medium, then it was medium well I decided to go with lamb instead. It was VERY well done but smothered in so much gravy I had to use napkins to wipe it off. My husband's ribeye was tough and smothered in so much cheese it was crazy. Go to check out and find a 4% service fee for credit cards. I get that, however it should be revealed prior to ordering. We were visiting local establishment for a show, will NEVER eat here again

We have been to heritage diner at least half a dozen times over the years. The service is great, and the food is delicious. Recently I had a bacon lettuce and tomato and it was perfect comfort food! I would recommend.

This was a great place to eat. The menu is extensive...
They offer specials for 55 and over as well as kids.
Our food was served on a hot plate to keep the food from getting cold as you dine.
The service was very good interior clean well lit.
I will definitely eat here again over any kind of fast food or other local places.
They are open 7 days a week u til 7pm and 6pm on Sundays.
Yash was our server he was great made sure everything was OK throughout the experience.
