My partner and I made our way here on our last day in NY and I only wish we had made our way over sooner! The folks here are kind and welcoming, truly wanting to feed people food that feels good for your body and spirit. And the food...oh my goodness THE FOOD!! I took one bite out the siote empanada and was dumbfounded at the taste and texture. We shared the King Sampler plate and inhaled the whole thing! I'm out of state and can't stop thinking about the flavor of their mac and cheese. Truly a treasure of the neighborhood. Please do yourself a favor and check it out! Can't wait to go bck next time we are in town.
Very delicious alkaline food. I have eaten from here in the past, but yesterday's experience was memorable. I had the catfish (fried lion's mane mushrooms) with candied squash, wild rice, and curry chickpeas. YUM YUM YUM. It was two meals. I also had two slices of pie. I preferred the apple pie over the blueberry, but both were yummy. Lovely staff. Do have patience for the cook time and don't try to squeeze this spot in if you're running a tight schedule. I like my food FRESH, so I didn't mind it being prepared before my eyes. I ate too quickly to take a photo.
Found this place on ig two days ago, and went with my sister yesterday. When I tell you the energy of the staff is amazing!!!!! We ended up getting the mac and cheez with half curry mushrooms, half fried mushrooms, arugula salad, candied squash, sea moss water melon juice, a banana pudding and a mixed berry cake....every thing was amazing. Top tier. Very nice portions. We just finished eating the rest of the food. I wish I had pics of everything but we was hungry. Check them out!

We went back for the lions mane steak and when I say it was amazing....I cant stress it enough. It was amazing
Not really my cup of tea, mostly because of the price. For $28, I expected something more substantial and thoughtfully balanced. When I think of a Harvest Bowl, I imagine a variety of seasonal veggies and flavors—but this one was overwhelmingly quinoa, with barely any greens or squash.
The fried oyster mushrooms were a highlight—they really nailed the crispy, chicken-tender vibe. But aside from that, the dish didn’t stand out. It was served in plastic, which didn’t help the overall experience, and the portion felt small.
I eat vegetarian all the time and can make curry chickpeas at home, so this just didn’t feel worth the price. There were some nice touches—a bit of salad, a piece of candied squash—but not enough to carry the bowl. Overall, it felt more like eating a pile of quinoa with chickpeas, and there wasn’t enough sauce to bring it all together.
