South Bay Marine has been servicing my boats for almost 20 years. I recently had to repower my boat and they were absolutely amazing. They worked with me to get the right engine for the boat, my needs, and my budget. They were so easy to work with and communicated with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was in the loop the whole way. They did bay tests and tried multiple props until they came up with the perfect solution. I can’t say enough great things about this crew. They were nice and supportive and of course really great at what they do. Most importantly, they really cared that I was happy. Several of the guys commented that my smile when I did my first bay test w the new engine meant everything to them. They were happy bc I was happy. Looking forward to trusting them to care for my boats for many years to come.

The crew at South Bay Marine are awesome! They pulled apart my boat a year ago to redo fuel tanks, engine rebuild, new canvas, etc. everything came out great and that was all through a pandemic… no problem! Now… the hull wax job they did after putting the boat back together was AMAZING! It’s never shined that brightly and after a full season AND then winter in the water I am debating bothering to re-wax when I short haul the boat for zincs, bottom paint, etc. I just lightly washed it after Memorial Day wkd activities for the first time since before winter and it’s still reflecting the water ripples in it! I have moved up to Rhode Island since last year and could easily justify making the trip down to Long Island with the boat to visit family AND get another magic hull detail! Thanks South Bay Marine!!!

I've had the guys at South Bay marine service my boats in the past and was always happy and this time was no different. But this time i was removing my engine and drive and having them install it on another boat. They made sure that everything was safe and in working order before they let me take it. Even got daily updates from Tim as the boat got close to being launched.
Very pleased with the mechanical work that Kenny has done. 5 stars all the way.

Artie the owner and Tim the service manager were excellent to work with. Detail oriented and trustworthy. They explained all the work and did not disappoint when following through on time. Nice to know you have them looking out for your best interests.

Artie and his services have been great to me over the last few years of owning my boat. I am very used to doing my own work and I would rarely approach someone about touching my boat but I am glad I came to Artie and his team when I finally had to. They are knowledgeable and friendly among quite a few good qualities I can name but overall they stand by their work and won't let you down. Artie makes my boating season come and go with great ease and no issues and I wouldn't have it any other way. The seasons are short if you wan't your boat to run great for the entire duration go see Artie and his guys down at the yard.
