Babbling Brook Cottages

Stayed there this last weekend during the snowstorm. Lamar was an outstanding host, had a bunch of material inside the cabin with information of things to do in the area, places to eat, and dog friendly spots. Everything inside the cabin was well maintained, and despite temperatures being in the single digits it was cozy inside and warm water would come out of the faucets immediately. Lamar also had wood stacked up for us to light up in the camp fire pit next to the cabin.

Not only did Lamar have so much provided for us, but on top of that he shoveled out my car and cleaned off all the snow from it. After the snowstorm he also made sure to clear the snow from the porch and pathway to the cabin. He also kept monitoring road and highway conditions to make certain we had a safe trip home.

The Zoomie Zone was perfect for our dog, he was able to play in the snow safely in a large enclosed space. Lamar had bowls for his food and water on top of towels to wipe him down from all the snowfall.

Can't wait to return here.

My boyfriend surprised me for Christmas/New Year get away. This was one of the most romantic, peaceful vacations I have ever had. I had the pleasure of staying in two different cottages and it was nothing short of a fantastic experience. Everything was in the kitchen that I needed, including delicious coffee that I brewed each morning, Clean and neat, fresh towels, cozy beds and crisp sheets. The owners, Lamar ant Terry are wonderful people who truly care about the people who stay in their property. The town of Milford is near by with a diner , serving great food! There are other towns near by that have great restaurants as well. I will go back again and again.

I stayed a weekend at The Stargazer with my best friend for a quick girls getaway trip, and I am so glad we stayed here! We came the weekend before Christmas and the details in our cottage were incredible. It was like Christmas exploded inside in the best way - it was warm (the bed is heated! Yes you read that right!) and cozy. It was extremely clean and the owners are lovely and welcoming. We had our own fire pit with wood and an outside grill. There was also a community gas fire pit with comfy chairs and blankets we enjoyed our hot chocolate (in our lovely Christmas mugs) around. I would definitely recommend Babbling Brook for a stay away in nature!

I just spent my second stay at Babbling Brook Cottages. I can’t say enough about the cottages. They are cozy and warm, clean and wonderfully decorated. I’ve stayed in the summer and this trip was two weeks before Christmas. Both seasons here were wonderful.
Lamar was so accommodating…he truly wants to make sure you have a great stay and is always available to answer questions, replenish firewood and shovel your pathway! Terri is seriously committed to making your stay memorable…she decorated these cabins for the holidays including Christmas trees, holiday-inspired bedding, artwork and dishes! A truly cozy winter wonderland. Cabin trees were lit and heat was on waiting for our arrival.
Both Lamar and Terri take tremendous pride in their property making sure we all have a wonderful guest experience! They were also kind enough to show me every cabin so I can decide which one to stay in next. One is cuter than the other.

The Babbling Brook Cottages is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I stayed at the Toasted Marshmallow and it was the perfect size. It was so cozy and comfortable. The property is kept so nice and has great photo areas and places to hang and enjoy the outside. Terri and Lamar are super sweet and respond immediately if you need anything!! We will definitely be going back and looks forward to a different cottage!! 100% recommend!
