Go past this diner every day, but never stopped in. Went here for breakfast because all my normal haunts were closed. Best thing to happen! Food was excellent, service was great, prices were good and the place was beautifully decorate for Christmas. My new favorite breakfast place.
Golden Star Diner in Ringoes, NJ has become our family Sunday brunch spot. The staff is always very friendly, service good and the food excellent. In addition, the interior Christmas decorations are truly amazing, they alone are worth going to see. So highly recommend Golden Star for a fun, friendly meal out.
All decked out for the christmas holiday this was a fun and lively atmosphere for a quick bite to eat on our way home. This was a second meal here and met the expectations from outfirst. Fast, cordial service and tasty food.
We were going to a golf tournament around the corner. Stopped in here for a quick breakfast. Service was good food came out fairly quickly but when it arrived to the table it was barely warm my cheese omelette had not even melted in the center. Home fries we're barely warm. I did not have to bacon but my friends did and they said it was a mediocre at best. The diner was fairly clean but very old in looks. Two eggs over easy bacon and toast and a coffee for my two friends the third meal was an omelette with home fries. Believe it or not all that was almost $57 without a tip. Would I go back or recommend anyone go there, no. The diner was not super busy when we arrived. There was no reason for the mediocre food. The server got the highest rating four stars. I really love little town diners and hope for a great experience maybe they can turn this around
Typical diner aesthetics. Our server was good. The food was ok. The scrapple was really thicker than I’ve had it back home in Florida. It didn’t have much flavor. The Arnold Palmer I ordered tasted like unfiltered tap water with a hint of tea, no lemonade flavor at all.
The wings were good says hubby. The BAT eggs benidict and fries were yummy
