We interviewed several designers before choosing Hinoki, and we’re so glad we did—the result is truly satisfying. From the beginning, we had high expectations for our home and decided to go with high-end finishes. Like many people, this was our first time doing a full-house remodel, and we knew mistakes were possible.

Throughout the process, we got to know Charla and her partner Todd, and they were amazing. They guided us through every detail—selecting cabinets, stone, wood flooring, paint colors, and more. The design looked stunning in the renderings and turned out even more breathtaking in real life.

We ended up with Ballerina cabinets (Charla helped us get a great deal), Taj Mahal quartzite in a matte finish(Todd helped us negotiate a great price with stone yard), Porcelanosa tile, and of course, top-quality appliances. We now enjoy our home every single day.

The process took a bit longer than expected due to tariffs and import delays, but the wait was absolutely worth it. We truly appreciate Charla’s expertise, patience, and taste. We highly recommend her to anyone looking to elevate their home with a full remodel.

Through every stage of the planning process, Charla at Hinoki/Hill designs was professional, attentive, and flexible to our needs. She met with us in our home multiple times to review things we liked in order to come up with a design that excited us! She delivered exactly what she said she would - a quality design, expert detailed drawings for our contractor, and an easy -to-follow shopping list that made it oh so easy to acquire materials. When the contractor had questions, Charla responded quickly with practical answers that worked within our budget constraints. Charla is a wonderful designer. My family just bought a brand-new condo, and we are first time buyer. We found out there’s so many details we had to deal with. We were so confused with all the colors, and materials, and no idea what style we wanted. The first meeting with builder was exhausting, and every combination we chose was weird and we were not sure if that was what we wanted.

Then we found Charla! And she helped a lot! The first thing she did was prepared so many pictures and helped us find the style we wanted, then worked with us to pick out all the things for the new home. We brought the color, materials back for our second meeting with the builder, and their team was impressed and liked the color and combination we chose.

Now, we are so excited and looking forward to see our new home finished.
