JDT Resort Rehab

My initial impression of JDT Resort was less than favorable. That would seem reasonable knowing I was taken directly to my room on a holiday. The standard food was less than appealing prior to choosing my own menu. Once I expressed my dissatisfaction, I immediately began seeing my requsets for healthy unprocessed foods being honored. The kitchen went above and beyond to meet me with healthy dietary selections.

Next and most importantly, the people that work here are amazing. The nurses (Priya and Jason) and many of the aides are stellar. Nicole, the OT showered my post op body and was so enjoyable to tak to which helped put me at ease. Lisette, Sandy and the other CNAs went above and beyond to make me comfortable and kept me laughing when things felt tough. The dietary staff Lauren and others have gone above and beyond, and this post surgery body appreciates that! Shout out to Karima Holloway for making me feel heard.

As a teacher I know it is all about progress not perfection. JDT Resorts aims for happy and healed patients and that is essential! Now I am eager to get to work on healing my self.

I was at JDT Resort in Lincoln Park for three months. I received excellent care both in The physical therapy and occupational therapy. Petros was absolutely amazing and so was Suzanne and Mara thank you so much for your kindness as far as the nurses go on the first floor high end Nicole and Alexandra were so kind to me and the aid Eva was excellent. They cared about my well-being and about my safety. I would recommend JDT resort to anybody that would ask about it since it was excellent and I don’t think there is any better. I am very happy and satisfied with my rehab care at JDT Resort. Everyone was so very nice to me. my nurses and aides were so very sweet especially nicole my nurse and ewa the aide who also helped me when I was not her patient. My therapist Jane and Ryan that I worked with yesterday are excellent,. I thank each and everyone who has helped me and worked with me. also the recliner that was provided for my room was very very relaxing.

September 8th I had total knee replacement, left knee. After 3 days at Chilton I transferred to JDT Resort. I was impressed with the private room and private bath. I was even more impressed with the Staff including, nurse Kathy and Ela and Eva who were all so very kind and professional. Also Jenny and Beverly.

Physical therapist Jane and Occupational therapist Suzanne were truly exceptional.

I was also impressed with the food, yes really! Only recommendation would be a7 am breakfast delivery for us early risers.

I am also having outpatient PT at JDT. Dr. Toyin is also amazing.

My mom was at JDT 3 times over the past 4 months. I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the 2nd floor nursing supervisors and staff beginning with Pria, Danielle, Cherbine, Sandy, Patty and Jason. We also want to thank the PT staff Elaine Jane and Suzanne were amazing; also Rod who checked on my mom often on his own. Our social worker Alyssa was also extremely helpful. The nurse practioner Britney was excellent. We recommend this facility.
