Villas at JDT

I would like to thank JDT for helping my husband ‘s recovery be smooth and pleasant. The facility was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Most staff members were available, pleasant and professional.
I would like to mention 2 Aids that did their job above and beyond. Juliette and Swastee, They both went the extra step to meet my husband’s needs. Always there when needed with pleasant attitude and a smile.
Nurses were always available, attentive and had a great attitude especially Nick and Jorge. They both were very attentive to my husband’s-medications and Dibetic monitoring.
I can’t talk enough about Melissa the social worker. She is amazing, resourceful and professional. Explained everything to me during our stay and at discharge
Mel and Leo the OT and PT therapists were supportive, compassionate while helping my husband meet his goals.
Lastly and not least Richie (I believe the director of at the therapy department) She went all out to order the right wheel chair for my husband and arranged for the wrong chair to be picked up.
Overall I recommend JDT to anyone needs Sub Acute rehab. It is a great, clean place with a wonderful atmosphere.

After two back-to-back hospitalizations, JDT Villa was the best choice for my mom. While not the newest facility complex I saw, it had the best staff to patient ratio and the staff was responsive to my inquiries. Mom had her own room and was comfortable throughout the stay. The staff was always friendly and responsive to mom, and they took care to get her involved in activities throughout the week. I felt safe leaving her and that they would take care of her. Under the circumstances that none of us want to face, I was happy with the experience- most importantly mom was happy.

My 99 year old mother spent 3.5 months at JDT Villa after breaking her femur. She was welcomed with open arms. The staff tried to make her stay comfortable and productive. While at The Villa, she encountered several health issues unrelated to her fall, which made participating in PT and OT challenging. In spite of this, her therapists Leon and AG were always patient and caring. Andrea, George and Nick provided excellent nursing care. Nancy, and Sonay, two of her primary aides were thoughtful, caring and respectful. The administrator, Steve, visited my mom daily and was quick to respond to any issues we brought to his attention. Melissa the social worker and Joseph a case manager helped us navigate logistics and insurance. All in all I can recommend JDT Villa.

My96 y.o. Mom has been at JDT at the Villa on several different occasions. In the past, they have been successful at getting her strong enough to return to independent living. This time she will not make it, but the entire staff has been very nurturing and supportive. Nurse Shanice and Aide Sarah were exceptional. Now we are headed to the next level of care at the JDT Renaissance. Administrator Steve was there to help with the transition. He is very hands on. I am looking forward to getting to know the new staff. It’s Day 2 and Mom is very happy with her new room.

The best decision I have ever made to recover from my hip replacement surgery was to go to JDt rehab!! On the third floor at the VIllas I had the most wonderful experience. The care that they gave me was excellent from the head nurse Shenise, aide Gladys ( who made the most beautiful flower pieces for me that I will truly treasure), to Ashley the concierge, Maria the person who cleaned my wonderful room. Also, to Brandon, and Jess my PT and OT coaches who helped me so much and I love dearly! And to Brian, who is so talented singing and playing the ukulele for me. I felt that the whole staff were not only the best caregivers, but felt like family. I was so impressed with Steve Staub, the aAdministrator, whom
I looked forward to seeing every morning! Also, I have a list of "Friends" who deserve special recognition for making my stay at the VIllas so memorable: Sara, aide Matt OT, Erin Pt, wonderful night nurses nikki, nanso and carlton.
