I haven’t been here in awhile and how sad because i forgot how awesome the food is. I just had the Chicken Vodka Parmesan Sub. They packed this sub with A Lot of chicken and Mozz! It’s just so good. Ty Paulie G’s for an awesome lunch. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this
place!
Awesome little old school Italian deli with great food
I had a delicious Chicken Cutlet sandwich special of the day. Fresh crispy tender chicken cutlet , melted provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, baby Arugula , and a Basil Pesto Mayo on Italian Bread. The basil pesto mayo was absolutely delicious on the cutlet. The cutlet was so good and I wish there was a little more on the sandwich and I wouldn’t have minded if that pesto mayo was dripping out of all sides. I also tried a Chicken Cesar wrap which was also just as delicious with fresh cutlet , lettuce and dressing. They also have breakfast sandwiches , and a full deli with Thumans meats and a coffee bar. Had a few tables to sit and eat. Fast friendly service. I will be back to try other items
I dont know where to start when it comes to this little place in Jersey. As someone who travels all over the country regularly for business, my girlfriend and I frequently stop at different spots to try our luck with great cuisine and other experiences. Paulie G’s was nothing short of a marvelous experience. Although the restaurant itself only had 5 or 6 tables for seating, the service was phenomenal as everyone had smiles on their faces and was happy to help, giving us great recommendations. I had the vodka parm paired with the macaroni salad and Paulie G’s own birch beer. The Vodka Parm was fresh, moist, hot, and full of flavors bursting into my mouth with each bite. The macaroni salad had a good vinegary taste to it and a much better taste than many of the macaroni salads I had before, which was actually one of the shocking things about our experience. I wasn't expecting it to be so good. One thing that caught my attention was the amount of business this small place had in the amount of time we sat and ate our lunch. People were coming in and out frequently, but the service was fast, and kept the same smiles throughout our entire experience while still being attentive to us by asking if we needed anything on multiple occasions. We could tell that the community really loved this place, and Paulie G’s staff loved the community, frequently mentioning people by name as they arrived or departed the restaurant. We will definitely return on our next trip through and suggest that if you are in the area, you stop by and check it out for yourself.
The food here is absolutely wonderful! We weren’t sure what to try because we are from out of town and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well. The entire restaurant looked clean and was well kept as well. I tried the chicken bruschetta sandwich and it was delicious- the flavors are all there and it’s definitely fresh as well. The macaroni salad was also delicious, and tasted like it had a creamy vinaigrette base. Definitely will eat here again, and I highly recommend stopping.
My son and I googled best sandwiches near me and up came Paulie G’s. We were welcomed warmly and with a big smile.
We ordered the sloppy Joe and the Vodka Parmesan sandwich and they were fantastic! Such a great place, great people and to top it off amazing sandwiches! If you’re in the area stop by and treat yourself.
