My husband and I stayed here for a few nights with our grandchildren. We were handled beautifully from the booking all the way to the end of our stay. We could not have felt more cared for or more welcomed.
The inn is one block from the beach, and it's a very quiet beach. There are lifeguards and the beach is very clean.
Two or 3 blocks north is the lighthouse, Andy's souvenir shop, and a quaint restaurant.
Also close to an assortment of quaint shops and a museum.
The room was modest and clean, with a large bathroom, small fridge, and wifi.
The beds were firm and extremely comfortable. Also a table and two chairs by the window.
Very quiet, even during the day.
We couldn't have been happier, and will go back there again.

Great place always stay here when I visit LBI! Quiet and at night you can see the lights from the lighthouse! (JOKE) You can stand in the middle of the street in front of North Shore Inn at midnight and stand there for 30 mins facing south and there are no cars driving only the traffic light!

We came down to the North Shore in in May while our floors were being redone. We had heard good things from friends who stayed there last year, and we were not disappointed. We had two of the standard first floor rooms and they were spacious, impeccably clean, and pleasant. We had to do some work during the day, and we found the table provided in the room a good place to work. The owner (Chris?), welcomed us and was flexible when we weren't sure how long we were going to stay. I also love this part of the Island, which is a bit quieter and less overrun than the other parts. It's amazing to be so close to the beach. This place is *very* good value for money.

This place is awesome. I will definitely stay here again. I booked a room on short notice and I was very surprised with the upkeep of this place. The rooms are slightly dated, but super clean. I rented an efficiency, and I would have no issues using the appliances. They provided beach passes and all the helpful information I could ever want about the area. I would highly suggest this location to anyone traveling in the area.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Quiet, laid-back environment. Super comfortable beds! Al and Christine are sweethearts. Loved the room, the hotel layout and the lobby. The fishing photos & the history behind them on the lobby walls are wonderful and Al and Christine are good people. We absolutely loved the ice provided OUTSIDE - easy access to everything. Short walk to the beach - gorgeous area. We especially appreciated the Inn welcoming our service dog with no hassles. Thank you so much! Will definitely be back - highly recommended!
