Willow Moon Candles

Willow Moon Candles is an incredible New Jersey local candle company. I intentionally shopped NJ small businesses for Christmas and found them online — and I’m so glad I did.

I ordered the Phillies wax melts, Jersey Shore candle, two Jersey Peach candles, and the Laundry Day candle as gifts. Shipping was fast, everything arrived perfectly, and the fragrance quality is outstanding. The scents are rich, clean, and genuinely fill the room without being overpowering.

These candles outperform every big-name corporate candle brand I’ve purchased in terms of scent throw alone. The Jersey Peach and Jersey Shore scents are nostalgic and beautifully balanced, and Laundry Day is clean and elevated — not artificial or overpowering.

Pricing was right on par with (or better than) larger retailers, but the quality is noticeably higher. I won’t be purchasing candles from anywhere else moving forward. If you’re looking to support a New Jersey small business that makes high-quality, hand-poured candles, Willow Moon Candles is absolutely worth it.

Beautiful little shop with plenty of items that make for great gifts— the books, body butter, and witchy picks like spell kits were great findings.

Lots of nicely scented candles in cleverly humorous jars to chose from.
Also a wide selection of crystals, jewelry and other trinkets and decorations.

The staff was extremely friendly and answered any questions I had. I'll definitely be going back.

About three years ago, I was searching the internet for gemstone candles when I stumbled across the stunning candles made by Willow Moon Candles. I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with them and have been ordering them ever since. I was even more excited to find out that Willow Moon Candles is a LOCAL woman owned business in New Jersey!

In the years since, I have gotten to know April - the owner and candle maker - and have sought out her expertise for personalized candles, suggestions and more. Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting April for the first time when she opened her warehouse that had a shopping area where you could come and browse the candles in person. She was such a delight and I kept saying I couldn’t wait to head back across the river for a visit.

So when I heard that April was opening her very own storefront in Atco, NJ, I knew I had to go!!! It was even more magical than I had imagined it would be.

I could have spent hours in there between smelling all of the candles, chatting with April and just soaking in all of the good vibes. It was nearly impossible to choose which items to bring home with me as I could have been happy with one of everything.

My FAVORITE scents from Willow Moon Candles are White Sage & the Philly Soft Pretzel, and I almost stocked up on a few more of them while I was there.

Instead, I ended up leaving with:

▫️ a Willow Moon signature candle
▫️ a lemon curd candle
▫️ a white tea and sage roll on
▫️ a chunk of black tourmaline

I am so excited for the new shop and for all of the wonderful things April has accomplished over the last few years!
