*Update Dec 2025* Showers have been working recently, so this is back to being a five star gym (especially compared to PF wappingers which doesn't have any squat racks)
Gym itself is good, and sunday zumba with Emily is fantastic. However, there has been a consistent issue with the men's room showers and for the last two and a half months there has only been one or two days where there was any hot water at all. I have tried to message the management but received no update. The only thing they've done is put a sign up a month ago saying "There are issues with the hot water, parts are on order". Are they really still on order? Seems like a "go away and stop asking us about it" sign.
Other than that I'm very happy - Desk staff is friendly and helpful and lots of weights and machines available in the 7-8am timeframe.
My experience with crunch fitness in Poughkeepsie is always amazing, the staff and management there is always professional super knowledgeable and very friendly with any questions or concerns I’ve got I love the gym and the warm welcome and friendly staff the equipment is always fixed orderly and the bathrooms are always clean and comfortable, I’m always satisfied and feel great when I workout it’s my happy place 😎
Absolutely the best gym. Good variety of classes that are 30 minutes long. If you want more, take two! Good selection of equipment that is always clean and well-maintained. Clean locker rooms (very important). The personal training sessions (Joe) are tailored to my needs and the issues I'm working to improve. I no longer need the surgery, and am quickly recovering mobility.
