The folks at Good Shepherd Hospice took such great care with my mom. I don’t want to give names because they ALL were beyond excellent. Working hospice is so much more than a job, it’s a calling and I’m so thankful mom ended her days here. If your loved one is headed here know they will receive the best care possible. Again, I’m very grateful to all the angels walking these halls for the genuine kindness and empathy they showed to mom and my family. May God bless you all and know you are appreciated.
I can't say enough good things about Good Shepherd. First of the place is clean and quiet. What makes this place is the staff. They are absolutely the best. Every one I spoke to and that took care of my husband was compassionate, understanding and they took their time to explain and answer all my questions and concerns and even spoke to and comforted my children. My sincerest gratitude to the staff for making this very difficult time a little easier. God bless the staff of Good Shepherd.
Dear Good Shepherd Hospice Care,
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary compassion and support you provided to my father and our family during his final days. Your kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication made an incredibly difficult time more bearable.
From the nurses who offered gentle care to the staff who provided emotional support, each of you showed remarkable empathy and understanding. Your presence brought comfort to my father and peace to our family, allowing us to focus on cherishing our time together. The way you attended to every detail with such warmth and dignity will always be remembered.
Thank you for being a beacon of light during such a challenging moment in our lives. Your care made all the difference, and we are forever grateful for the love and support you extended to us.
Thank you,
The Family of Francisco Lorenzo
It's been just over 2 weeks since my mom passed. I thought she received great care while in Good Shepherd, specifically Tracy, Mindy, Jackie, Kayla & Jeanette. Everyone was caring and on top of my mom's care, whether it was giving pain meds or cleaning her daily. The nurses took the time to talk to my siblings & I, as well as my daughters. The facility was clean, not just mom's room but the public areas (kitchen, restrooms, lobby area). We spent about 3 weeks there each day, and although it was a difficult time for us personally, I was very pleased with this hospice facility. Thank you for what you do.
While reviewing a hospice facility is not my favorite, I have to admit that Good Shepherd was truly adequate in their purpose. My father arrived on Thursday June 13th, 2024 and sadly took his last breath a week later on Thursday June 20th. While there, he was well taken care of and as a social worker (I just graduated in May) I can tell the place is run by individuals who have a heart of gold and the endurance to witness death daily. For me, it would be hard to do this but I appreciate the staff there. The location is beautiful, well kept, clean and welcoming. I was able to bring my children and they were comfortable and felt at ease. My father was comfortable, kept clean and visited a lot! We saw a few volunteers who were simply angelic and Father Peter gave a prayer and between the security, nurses, aides, social workers and janitorial staff, we truly felt blessed and grateful. I also stayed there one evening and slept well and was able to hold my father’s hand and spend time with him. The garden is also beautiful and very peaceful. 🌹Death is not easy, but it is a part of life and Good Shepherd provided the support we needed and my family and I are truly grateful. ❤️🩹
