Omggg the food was insane, soo good. Everything came out really fast and all the ingredients were hand made and DELICIOUS. Our server was also really great. Definitely our fave spot so far in Long Beach. Gnocchi, diavola pizza & gelato w hazelnut brownie was perfection.

I recently had my baby shower here and everything was AMAZING! Andrew the owner and all the staff were wonderful, accommodating and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend them for an event of any kind and of course for dinner as well. Thank you Grotta for such a wonderful experience!

Excellent food!! I’m very critical of Italian food, but this was so fresh and delicious. Drinks were wonderful, service quick and helpful with suggestions. Will definitely return.

My favorite pizza and Italian restaurant in Long Beach! Their ingredients are always fresh, and the chef consistently prepares everything to perfection. The octopus is so crispy, my favorite. The brick oven personal pizzas are out of this world—so tasty and perfectly crisp! I also love that it's a family-run business that retains most of its employees—such a warm and welcoming place!

Lovely experience. My wife and I made reservations and sat at the bar. I ordered the ny strip tagliata, an escarole Caesar, and a dirty martini. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants, and, as much as I'd like to try the rest of the menu- I'm afraid I might HAVE to get the exact same things again because it was that good.
