My furnace stopped working during one of the worse snow storms this winter with single digit temperatures. I was so relieved when John from Silverman’s arrived in that awful weather to help me. He was so professional and arrived right after I called. He not only fixed the problem but thoroughly explained what the problem had been and how he fixed it. I am so thankful they were out to help on an awful weather day but I got to be warm during the storm. I highly recommend Silverman’s heating services.
At the top of the new year our 40 year old boiler decided to give out on us, turns out not many people replace electric boilers in Callicoon but Silverman came same day and gave us a quote by EOD. Although we did get a few estimates it was clear that Silverman did the most extensive and detailed report on the boiler system and gave us best options. It took a few days for parts to get in but once they were here the team started right away. AJ and Ernie made sure everything was installed and running smoothly by the same day! The office is always quick to respond and super helpful, the mechanics worked quickly and it was worth every penny! So glad we went with Silverman and will definitely be using them for all our hvac maintenance in the future!
Silverman did a fantastic job replacing our well pressure tank and the pipe system immediately around it. They also came quickly for an emergency pipe replacement elsewhere in the house. Everything was done with care. Great communication. Good people and good work. Definitely recommend.
amazing service—my hot water tank sprung a leak on the weekend and CHRIS came out to do an emergency fix. the problem was solved and he also changed my toilet's pump which was an ongoing issue. PAULA then helped secure a new tank under warranty (which i never would have known). thank god for silverman!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Silverman’s Mechanical! From the very beginning, AJ came out to do the estimate and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. When it came time for the actual work, Ulysses and Nathaniel did an outstanding job — they were efficient, courteous, and extremely skilled. What we expected to be a long, complicated job was completed much faster than anticipated, without sacrificing quality. Sullivan County is truly lucky to have a company like Silverman’s around. Highly recommend!
