I have been a client of Sparx for about 40 years. Patti is brilliant and talented at her profession. She knows color so well that it never looks as though your hair is colored it looks so natural. Cindy who also works there is very talented. The shop is homey and welcoming. I don't know any place else that I would go to and come out feeling so good.
Get ready for an experience. After my hair cut with Cindy I felt like I was standing 6 ft tall! I loved my haircut with no exaggeration and probably haven't felt that good in a few years, she made time to involve me in what her opinion on what would flatter my appearance. She was right on the money! And just an overall welcome, plus the Aveda products don't test on animals! I am actually looking forward to my next cut, I think the last time I had that feeling was when I was in high school. I'm 40 lol! So do not shy away from what could be your best cut in years, and just enjoy!
THE BEST!! Patty and Cindy are the most professional hair stylists and colorist in the business. They never cease to amaze me. They are warm and inviting when you enter and it feels so relaxing to be there. I love getting my hair done there and look forward to many more years with them.
I used to drive to NJ to get my hair highlighted and cut, what a drag....but then I found Patty and team at Sparx through google about 7 yrs ago. Best haircut and highlights by far, and I have been to probably 15+ different salons over the years. More importantly, they are like family! Their service is so warm and friendly. The warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere of this salon is the first thing you will encounter when you enter the cozy house in which the salon resides. Patricia Hurst, the owner, is a magician with hair. She can make even the worst hair look amazing. She is the consummate professional. You will never leave her chair without her assessment that you look absolutely perfect. My husband recently told a friend that I never return from Patty’s salon without amazing looking hair. If you need a change in your hairdresser, Sparx is the place to go. You will be treated as a cherished friend and be given the best cut and color ever.
